The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared
to have passed the House and the title was agreed to.

IMMEDIATE MESSAGES
Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent
that Senate File 2380, House Files 2271 and 2136 be immediately
messaged to the Senate.
MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE
The following messages were received from the Senate:
Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that
the Senate has on March 23, 1998, passed the following bill in
which the concurrence of the Senate was asked:
House File 2336, a bill for an act relating to the assumption of
risk by and liability of forcible felons and persons aiding and
abetting in the commission of forcible felonies for damages
resulting from the offenders' criminal conduct.
Also: That the Senate has on April 6, 1998, amended and passed
the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is
asked:
House File 2539, a bill for an act relating to and making
appropriations to the justice system and providing effective
dates.
Also: That the Senate has on April 2, 1998, adopted the
following resolution in which the concurrence of the House is
asked:
Senate Joint Resolution 2004, a joint resolution proposing
amendments to the Constitution of the State of Iowa relating to
the state budget by limiting state general fund expenditures and
restricting certain state tax revenue changes.
Also: That the Senate has on April 6, 1998, refused to concur in
the House amendment to the following bill in which the
concurrence of the Senate was asked:
Senate File 2066, a bill for an act relating to child support
for a child completing high school graduation or equivalency
requirements.
Also: That the Senate has on April 6, 1998, amended the House
amendment, concurred in the House amendment as amended, and
passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House
is asked:
Senate File 2391, a bill for an act allowing probation for some
operating-while-intoxicated offenders after service of a
mandatory minimum sentence, permitting
