 1     Amend Senate File 2380, as amended, passed, and
 2   reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
 3     1.  Page 3, line 29, by striking the words "The
 4   board".
 5     2.  Page 3, by striking lines 30 and 31.
 6     3.  Page 3, line 32, by striking the word
 7   "neutral."
A non-record roll call was requested.

The ayes were 35, nays 47.
Amendment H-8774 lost.
Weigel of Chickasaw asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw amendment H-8767 filed by him on March 30, 1998.
Metcalf of Polk moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was
read a last time.
On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2380)
