Kreiman of Davis asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw amendment H-8171 filed by him on March 3, 1998. Rants of Woodbury offered the following amendment H-8178 filed by him and moved its adoption: H-8178 1 Amend House File 2269 as follows: 2 1. Page 1, line 24, by inserting after the word 3 "contact" the following: "is reasonable under the 4 circumstances and". Amendment H-8178 was adopted. Doderer of Johnson asked for unanimous consent to request that the word "reasonable" on page 1, line 19, be stricken from amendment H-8178 to House File 2269. Objection was raised. Rants of Woodbury moved that the bill be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time. On the question "Shall the bill pass?"
