  moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3665 was adopted by voice vote.

  Senator Black of Jasper offered amendment S-3671 filed by him
  on April 21, 1997, to House amendment S-3603, moved its adoption
  and requested a record roll call.

  On the question "Shall amendment S-3671 to House amendment
  S-3603 be adopted?" (S.F. 533) the vote was:

  Rule 23, requiring all Senators present to vote except those who
  express a conflict of interest, was invoked.
