852 JOURNAL OF THE SENATE 78th Day APPENDIX PETITITONS The following petitions were presented and placed on file by: Senator Dvorsky from 119 residents of Johnson County favoring legislation to have the state of Iowa opt. out of federal provisions that make convicted drug offenders ineligible for food stamps and other benefits. Senator Maddox from 82 residents of Polk and surrounding counties supporting the state funding of public libraries throughout Iowa.
