  Senate File 58

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 58, a bill for an
  act establishing English as the common language of the state, and
  amendment S-3058 by Senator Dvorsky to page 1 of the bill,
  deferred February 19, 1997 (amendment S-3060 pending).

  Senator Dvorsky moved the adoption of amendment S-3058 and
  requested a record roll call.

  On the question "Shall amendment S-3058 be adopted?" (S.F. 58)
  the vote was:

  Amendment S-3061 was adopted by a voice vote.
