  On motion of Senator Rife, Senate File 188, a bill for an act relating
  to the allocation of gambling receipts for horse race purses, was taken
  up for consideration.

  Senator McCoy withdrew amendment S-3095 filed by him from
  the floor to page 1 of the bill.

  Senator Black of Jasper offered amendment S-3097 filed by him
  from the floor to page 2 of the bill.

  Senator Rife raised the point of order that amendment S-3097 was
  not germane to the bill.

  The Chair ruled the point well taken and amendment S-3097 out
  of order.

  Senator Dearden asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on Senate File 188 be deferred for the preparation of a fiscal
  note.
