  *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau reported
  nonsubstantive changes to the members of the Human Resources Committee on
  Senate File 131 and they were attached to the committee report.

  Final Bill Action: SENATE RESOLUTION 4, a resolution relating to
  gubernatorial
  appointments requiring senate confirmation.

  Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE RESOLUTION.

  Final Vote: Ayes, 9: Iverson, Kramer, Gronstal, Fink, Jensen, Judge, Kibbie,
  Maddox
  and Redfern. Nays, none. Absent or not voting, 2: Lundby and Rehberg.

  STATE GOVERNMENT

  Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 126 (SSB 100), a bill for an act allowing a
  supervised, controlled burn for which a permit has been issued during an
  open
  burning ban.

  Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote: Ayes, 15: Lind, Rittmer, Kibbie, Deluhery, Drake, Fink,
  Gronstal,
  Halvorson, King, Lundby, McKibben, McLaren, Rife, Szymoniak and Tinsman.

  TRANSPORTATION

  Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 132 (SSB 48.1), bill for an act relating to
  state
  department of transportation operations, including regulating hazardous
  materials
  transport, regulating motor vehicle dealers, eliminating requirements that
  the
  department adopt administrative rules in certain instances, and
  establishing, making
  applicable, or enhancing penalties.

  Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote: Ayes, 11: Drake, Borlaug, McCoy, Freeman, Gettings, Halvorson,
  Jensen,
  Lind, McKean, McKibben and Rittmer. Nays, 2: Connolly and Fraise.
