  Senator Iverson moved the adoption of the report and the appointment of the
  Senate
  Pages.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the foregoing Senate Pages appeared
  before the bar of the Senate and were duly sworn to their oaths of office.

  HOUSE MESSAGE RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED

  The following message was received from the Chief Clerk of the House:

  MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House
  has
  on January 13, 1997, adopted the following resolution in which the
  concurrence of the
  Senate is asked:

  House Concurrent Resolution 1, a resolution that a joint
  convention of the two houses of the 1997 session of the Seventy-
  seventh General Assembly be held on Tuesday, January 14, 1997, at
  10:00 a.m.
  This resolution was read first time and passed on file.

  ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for immediate consideration House Concurrent Resolution 1.
