1 2 By Siegrist and Schrader
1 3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, THE
1 4 SENATE CONCURRING, That a joint convention of the two
1 5 houses of the 1997 session of the Seventy-seventh
1 6 General Assembly be held on Tuesday, January 14, 1997,
1 7 at 10:00 a.m.; and
1 8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Governor Terry E. Branstad
1 9 be invited to deliver his condition of the state and budget
1 10 message at this joint convention of the two houses of the
1 11 General Assembly, and that the Speaker of the House of
1 12 Representatives and the President of the Senate be designated
1 13 to extend the invitation to him.
