the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is
asked:
House File 694, a bill for an act extending the provisions
relating to the eradication of brucellosis to apply to animals
other than bovine animals, making penalties applicable, and
providing an effective date.
Also: That the Senate has on April 16, 1997, amended and passed
the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is
asked:
House File 698, a bill for an act relating to child abuse
information and the central registry for child abuse information
maintained by the department of human services and providing an
effective date.
Also: That the Senate has on April 16, 1997, passed the
following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked:
Senate File 161, a bill for an act modifying the holding
temperature required for the storage of eggs sold at retail.
Also: That the Senate has on April 16, 1997, concurred in the
House amendment and passed the following bill in which the
concurrence of the Senate was asked:
Senate File 193, a bill for an act relating to the election of
trustees for special land use districts.

SENATE MESSAGE CONSIDERED
Senate File 161, by committee on agriculture, a bill for an
act modifying the holding temperature required for the storage
of eggs sold at retail.
Read first time and referred to committee on appropriations.
The House stood at ease at 9:10 a.m., until the fall of the
gavel.
The House resumed session at 9:14 a.m., Speaker pro tempore Van
Maanen of Marion in the chair.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE RESOLUTION 13
Rants of Woodbury called up for consideration House Resolution
13, a resolution relating to an annual budget for the daily
operations of the House of Representatives, and moved its
adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.

CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
Unfinished Business Calendar
Senate File 174, a bill for an act relating to the operation of
motorboats on artificial lakes and providing an effective date,
with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for
consideration.
