1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8616, to Senate File 2366,
1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 15, by inserting after line 1 the
1 5 following:
1 6 "Sec. ___. Section 257.20, subsection 2, paragraph
1 7 a, Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
1 8 a. However, for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
1 9 1998, moneys appropriated under this subsection shall
1 10 not exceed the amount of moneys appropriated as
1 11 instructional support state aid for the budget year
1 12 which commenced on July 1, 1992. For the fiscal year
1 13 beginning July 1, 1999, and for each succeeding fiscal
1 14 year, moneys appropriated under this subsection shall
1 15 not exceed the sum of sixteen million seven hundred
1 16 ninety-eight thousand two hundred twenty-seven
1 17 dollars."
1 18 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
