  1  1    Amend House File 715 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 1, line 35, through page 2,
  1  3 line 1, and inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  HOST HOMES.  There is appropriated from
  1  5 the general fund of the state to the department of
  1  6 human services for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
  1  7 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, the following amount,
  1  8 or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the
  1  9 purpose designated:
  1 10    For implementation of host homes in accordance with
  1 11 this section:  
  1 12 .................................................. $    500,000
  1 13    The department shall use the moneys appropriated in
  1 14 this section for grants to increase the availability".
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
