  1  1    Amend House File 715 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 15, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "   .  The department shall provide health
  1  5 insurance to children who were previously recipients
  1  6 of federal supplemental security income (SSI) but who,
  1  7 due to the provisions of the federal Personal
  1  8 Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act
  1  9 of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-193, have lost their
  1 10 eligibility for SSI, are no longer categorically
  1 11 eligible for medical assistance, and are not otherwise
  1 12 eligible for medical assistance."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
