  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1266, to House File 597 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 11 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 2, line 30, by inserting after the
  1  6 word "sanction" the following:  "for the first time a
  1  7 family is subject to sanction".
  1  8    #   .  Page 2, line 32, by striking the word
  1  9 "twenty-five" and inserting the following:  "ten"."
  1 10    #2.  Page 1, lines 13 and 14, by striking the words
  1 11 ""If more than one child in the family is deemed to be
  1 12 truant, the" and inserting the following:  ""If a
  1 13 sanction is applicable for an additional child or if a
  1 14 second or subsequent sanction is applicable, the
  1 15 sanction shall be a deduction from the cash assistance
  1 16 grant payable to the child's family in an amount
  1 17 equivalent to twenty-five percent of the family
  1 18 investment program payment standard applicable to the
