         Senator Priebe offered amendment S-5734 filed by Senators Priebe,
    et al., on April 11, 1996, to page 1 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5734 was adopted by a voice vote.

         The Chair ruled the motion to reconsider the vote by which
    amendment S-3545 failed to be adopted by the Senate on April 26, 1995,
    filed by Senator Bartz on April 26, 1995, and found on page 1424 of the
    1995 Senate Journal, out of order.



                                LEAVES OF ABSENCE

         Leaves of absence were granted as follows:

         Senator Kramer until she arrives on request of Senator Borlaug and
    Senator Boettger until she returns on request of Senator Bartz.

    House File 560

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 560.

         Senator Priebe moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.
