The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS (Regular Calendar) Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent to take up for consideration House Concurrent Resolutions 119 and 123. House Concurrent Resolution 119 On motion of Senator Gettings, House Concurrent Resolution 119, a concurrent resolution expressing the sympathy of the Iowa General Assembly to the family of Captain John R. Pitzen, United States Navy, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration. Senator Gettings moved the adoption of House Concurrent Resolution 119, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. House Concurrent Resolution 123 On motion of Senator Gronstal, House Concurrent Resolution 123, a concurrent resolution to approve and confirm the appointment of the citizens aide, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration. Senator Gronstal moved the adoption of House Concurrent Resolution 123. The resolution was declared to have received a constitutional majority and to have been adopted by the Senate.
