                           HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED

    Senate File 73

         Senator Gronstal called up for consideration Senate File 73, a bill
    for an act requiring licensure of certain social workers, providing an
    effective date, imposing fees, and making penalties applicable, amended
    by the House in amendment S-5052 filed February 8, 1996.

         Senator Vilsack offered amendment S-5094 filed by him on February
    21, 1996, to House amendment S-5052 and moved its adoption.

         A non record roll call was requested.

         The ayes were 15, nays 27.

         Amendment S-5094 lost.

         Senator Gronstal moved that the Senate concur in the House
    amendment.

         The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Senate concurred in
    the House amendment.
