         The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
    have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to.

         Senator Halvorson asked and received unanimous consent that Senate
    File 2104 be withdrawn from further consideration of the Senate.



                                BUSINESS PENDING

    House File 111

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 111, a bill for an
    act exempting from regulation certain homeowners association swimming
    pools and amendment S-5117 as amended by the committee on Human
    Resources to page 1 of the bill, previously deferred.

         Senator Husak withdrew amendment S-5539 filed by him from the floor
    to amendment S-5117.

         Senator Husak withdrew the motion to reconsider the vote by which
    amendment S-5530 to House File 111 was adopted by the Senate on March
    26, 1996, filed by him on March 26, 1996, found on page 1048 of the
    Senate Journal.

         Senator Neuhauser asked and received unanimous consent that action
    on amendment S-5117 as amended and House File 111 be deferred.



                                BUSINESS PENDING

    House File 2449

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2449, a bill for  an
    act setting campaign contribution limits by persons and political
    committees, addressing independent expenditures on behalf of candidates,
    employee and member contributions, making penalties applicable, and
    providing an effective date and amendment S-5489 by the committee on
    State Government, previously deferred.
