                             ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION

                               (Regular Calendar)

    House Concurrent Resolution 111

         On motion of Senator Boswell, House Concurrent Resolution 111, a
    concurrent resolution supporting Iowa military personnel in the Bosnian
    peacekeeping mission, with report of committee recommending amendment
    and passage, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Boswell offered amendment S-5446 filed by the committee on
    Rules and Administration on March 20, 1996, to pages 1 and 2 of the
    resolution and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5446 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Boswell moved the adoption of House Concurrent Resolution
    111 as amended, which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
