         The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 2355, a bill for an
    act relating to domestic abuse, including law enforcement training
    requirements, seizure of weapons, prosecution of misdemeanors by county
    attorneys, and jurisdiction of district associate judges, and amendment
    S-5425 by Senators Vilsack, et al., to page 1 of the bill, deferred
    March 20, 1996.

         Senator Borlaug offered amendment S-5439 filed by him on March 20,
    1996, to amendment S-5425 and moved its adoption.

         A record roll call was requested.

         On the question Shall amendment S-5439 to amendment S-5425 be
