    Final Vote: Ayes, 18: Murphy, Lind, Banks, Bartz, Borlaug, Dvorsky,
    Flynn, Fraise, Gronstal, Hammond, Husak, Iverson, Judge, Kibbie, Kramer,
    Neuhauser, Rensink and Vilsack. Nays, none. Absent or not voting, 7:
    Boswell, Bisignano, Black, Douglas, Halvorson, McLaren and Tinsman.

    Fiscal Note: REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

    ALSO:

    Final Bill Action: HOUSE FILE 2477, a bill for an act relating to the
    funding of, operation of, and appropriation of moneys to agencies,
    institutions, commissions, departments, and boards responsible for
    education and cultural programs of this state and making related
    statutory changes and providing effective date provisions.

    Recommendation: AMEND AND DO PASS AS PROVIDED IN AMENDMENT S-5427.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 17: Murphy, Lind, Bartz, Borlaug, Dvorsky, Flynn,
    Fraise, Gronstal, Hammond, Husak,  Judge, Kibbie, Kramer, Neuhauser,
    Rensink, Tinsman and Vilsack. Nays, 2: Banks and Iverson. Absent or not
    voting, 6: Boswell, Bisignano, Black, Douglas, Halvorson and McLaren.

    WAYS AND MEANS

    Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 2077, a bill for an act relating to a
    property tax exemption for a person who is totally disabled while on
    active duty with the armed forces of the United States and providing an
    effective date.

    Recommendation: DO PASS.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 15: Palmer, Husak, Bennett, Connolly, Deluhery, Drake,
    Freeman, Hedge, Iverson, McLaren, Murphy, Neuhauser, Priebe, Szymoniak
    and Vilsack. Nays, none.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.
