Nays, none. The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to. IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Files 2123, 2335, 2224, 482, 2350, 376 and 2298 be immediately messaged to the House. HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the House: MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House has on March 20, 1996, passed the following bills in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: House File 2212, a bill for an act relating to the appointment of the director of the department of commerce. This bill was read first time and passed on file. House File 2318, a bill for an act relating to the licensure and practice of land surveying, to the unlawful practice of land surveying, architecture, and professional engineering, and establishing a civil penalty. This bill was read first time and passed on file. House File 2350, a bill for an act relating to motor vehicle dimensional and weight requirements and certificates of title for commercial vehicles. This bill was read first time and passed on file. House File 2452, a bill for an act providing for the establishment of a lien by licensed professionals against damages collected by an injured patient. This bill was read first time and passed on file.
