Senator Bartz called up the motion to reconsider the vote by which
amendment S-5160 to Senate File 2265 was adopted by the Senate on March
6, 1996, filed by him on March 7, 1996, found on page 687 of the Senate
Journal and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed by a voice vote and amendment S-5160 by
Senators Hammond and Halvorson to strike everything after the enacting
clause and to the title page of the bill, was taken up for
reconsideration.
Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5286 filed by her on March 11,
1996, to amendment S-5160 and moved its adoption.
Amendment S-5286 was adopted by a voice vote.
Senator Bartz offered amendment S-5239 filed by him on March 7,
1996, to amendment S-5160 and moved its adoption.
Amendment S-5239 was adopted by a voice vote.
Senator Bartz withdrew amendment S-5240 filed by him on March 7,
1996, to amendment S-5160.
Senator Hammond moved the adoption of amendment S-5160 as amended,
which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
Senator Hammond moved that the bill be read the last time now and
placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
bill was read the last time.
