Senate Journal: Page 740: Tuesday, March 12, 1996

         Senator Szymoniak offered amendment S-5320 filed by Senators
    Szymoniak and Neuhauser from the floor to page 37 of the bill and moved
    its adoption.

         Amendment S-5320 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hammond filed the following motion to reconsider from the
    floor and moved its adoption.

         MR. PRESIDENT: I move to reconsider the vote by which amendment
    S-5285 to Senate File 2442 was adopted by the Senate on March 12, 1996.

         The motion prevailed by a voice vote and amendment S-5285 by
    Senators Hammond and Tinsman was taken up for reconsideration.

         Senator Hammond called for a division of amendment S-5285:

         Page 1, lines 2-27 and 30-50 and page 2 as division S-5285A and
    page 1, lines 28 and 29 as division S-5285B.

         Senator Hammond asked and received unanimous consent that division
    S-5285B be withdrawn.

         Senator Hammond moved the adoption of division S-5285A, which
    motion prevailed by a voice vote.

         President pro tempore Bisignano took the chair at 3:55 p.m.

         Senator Hammond moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.

         On the question Shall the bill pass? (S.F. 2442) the vote was:
