  1  1    Amend Senate File 2442 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 37, line 9, by inserting before the word
  1  3 "In" the following:  "Reimbursements made between July
  1  4 1, 1996, and June 30, 1997, under the outpatient
  1  5 hospital reimbursement system implemented pursuant to
  1  6 1994 Iowa Acts, chapter 1186, section 25, subsection
  1  7 1, paragraph "f", shall be retrospectively adjusted so
  1  8 that the reimbursement made is within a ten percent
  1  9 deviation of the lower of the cost of the charges for
  1 10 the services provided during the fiscal year ending
  1 11 June 30, 1996, as adjusted to reflect actual changes
  1 12 in inflation, increased insureds, utilization per
  1 13 insured, and acuity of service."
