         The Chair ruled the point well taken and amendment S-5111 out of
    order.

         Senator Fink moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.

                             ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION

                               (Regular Calendar)

    Senate Resolution 16

         On motion of Senator Banks, Senate Resolution 16, a senate
    resolution to urge and petition the federal government to reexamine the
    requirements of the conservation reserve program administered by the
    United States Department of Agriculture in order to ensure that suitable
    land under the program is eligible for suitable uses relating to the
    grazing by livestock, with report of committee recommending passage, was
    taken up for consideration.
