LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence was granted as follows:
McCoy of Polk, for the remainder of the day and March 13, 1996,
on request of Schrader of Marion.
House File 2324, a bill for an act relating to state employee
disclosures of information and making penalties applicable, with
report of committee recommending amendment and passage, was
taken up for consideration.
Houser of Pottawattamie offered the following amendment H-5133
filed by the committee on state government and moved its
adoption:

H-5133

 1     Amend House File 2324 as follows:
 2     1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 28 the
 3   following:
 4     "Sec. ___.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed
 5   of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
 6     2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
 7   word "applicable" the following:  "and providing an
 8   effective date".
 9     3.  By renumbering as necessary.
The committee amendment H-5133 was adopted.
Houser of Pottawattamie moved that the bill be read a last time
now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the
bill was read a last time.
