Senate Journal: Page 1220: Thursday, April 13, 1995

         The motion prevailed and the appointment of David J. Fisher as a
    member of the State Board of Regents was taken up for reconsideration.

         Senator Murphy asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    the confirmation of David J. Fisher be deferred.

         The Senate stood at ease at 5:15 p.m. until the fall of the gavel.

         The Senate resumed session at 6:37 p.m., President Boswell
    presiding.

    Final Bill Action: SENATE RESOLUTION 17, a Senate Resolution deferring
    action on the confirmation of an appointment submitted by the Governor.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 6: Horn, Boswell, Rife, Husak, Kramer and Lind. Nays,
    2: Gettings and Gronstal. Absent or not voting, 1: Bisignano.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.
