                      CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNORS APPOINTMENT

                       (Individual Confirmation Calendar)

         Senator Bisignano called up the appointment of Allan T. Thoms as a
    member and Chairperson of the Utilities Board, placed on the Individual
    Confirmation Calendar on March 30, 1995, and found on page 995 of the
    Senate Journal.

         Senator Bisignano moved that the foregoing appointment be confirmed
    by the Senate.
