                          UNFINISHED BUSINESS CALENDAR

    Senate File 463

         On motion of Senator Vilsack, Senate File 463,  bill for  an act
    appropriating funds to the department of economic development, the Iowa
    finance authority, the Wallace technology transfer foundation, division
    of insurance of the department of commerce, the public employment
    relations board, the Iowa seed capital corporation, the international
    development foundation, and the department of employment services and
    making related statutory changes, and placed on the Unfinished Business
    Calendar on April 6, 1995, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Vilsack offered amendment S-3401 filed by him from the
    floor to strike everything after the enacting clause and to the title
    page of the bill.

         Senator Rife asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    amendment S-3401 and Senate File 463 be deferred.

         The Senate stood at ease at 2:55 p.m. until the fall of the gavel.

         The Senate resumed session at 2:57 p.m., President Boswell
    presiding.



                              IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that Senate File
    462 be immediately messaged to the House.

         The Senate stood at ease at 2:59 p.m. until the fall of the gavel
    for the purpose of party caucuses.

         The Senate resumed session at 4:26 p.m., President Boswell
    presiding.
