    have been confirmed by the Senate.

         Senator Redfern called up the appointment of Joan U. Axel as a
    member of the Iowa Telecommunications and Technology Commission, placed
    on the Individual Confirmation Calendar on February 22, 1995, and found
    on page 426 of the Senate Journal.

         Senator Redfern moved that the foregoing appointment be confirmed
    by the Senate.
