BUSINESS PENDING Senate File 266 The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 266, a bill for an act relating to the funding of, operation of, and appropriation of moneys to agencies, institutions, commissions, departments, and boards responsible for education and cultural programs of this state, and providing an effective date, previously deferred. Senator Kramer offered amendment S-3121 filed by Senators Kramer, et al., from the floor to page 3 of the bill. Senator Murphy raised the point of order that amendment S-3121 was not germane to the bill. The Chair ruled the point not well taken and amendment S-3121 in order. (Action on amendment S-3121 and Senate File 266 was deferred.) The Senate stood at ease at 3:12 p.m. until the fall of the gavel for the purpose of a party caucus. The Senate resumed session at 3:52 p.m., President pro tempore Bisignano presiding. QUORUM CALL Senator Horn requested a non record roll call to determine that a quorum was present. The vote revealed 45 present, 5 absent and a quorum present. CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT RECEIVED (Senate File 17) A conference committee report signed by the following Senate and House members was filed March 13, 1995, on Senate File 17, a bill for an act establishing the state percent of growth for the school budget year beginning July 1, 1995, for purposes of the state school foundation program and providing effective and applicability date provisions: 64th Day MONDAY, MARCH 13, 1995 609
