    Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 58 (SSB 16), a bill for an act relating
    to procedures and criteria for recovery by private property owners due
    to inverse condemnation of real property by state government action and
    providing an applicabiity date.

    Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 14: Priebe, Judge, Bartz, Banks, Black, Boswell,
    Douglas, Fraise, Giannetto, Hedge, Husak, McLaren, Sorensen and Zieman.
    Nays, none. Absent or not voting, 1: Palmer.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.



    STATE GOVERNMENT

    Final Bill Action: SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 6 (SSB 39), a joint
    resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of
    Iowa to restrict the expenditure of state license fees received from
    hunting, fishing, and trapping, and other public or private funds
    appropriated, allocated, or received by the state for fish and wildlife
    protection purposes.

    Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 13: Gronstal, Kibbie, Rittmer, Bennett, Connolly,
    Dearden, Drake, Fink, Giannetto, Halvorson, Lind, Lundby and Sorensen.
    Nays, none. Absent or not voting, 2: Bisignano and McLaren.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.



                           INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

         Senate Concurrent Resolution 9, by Bartz, a concurrent resolution
    requesting Interstate Power Company to refund certain farm customer
    charges.
