  1  1    Section 1.  Section 99B.3, subsection 1, paragraphs d and
  1  2 h, Code 1995, are amended to read as follows:
  1  3    d.  The game is posted and the cost to play the game does
  1  4 not exceed one dollar three dollars.
  1  5    h.  The actual retail value of any prize does not exceed
  1  6 twenty-five fifty dollars.  If a prize consists of more than
  1  7 one item, unit or part, the aggregate retail value of all
  1  8 items, units or parts shall not exceed twenty-five fifty
  1  9 dollars.  
  1 10                           EXPLANATION
  1 11    This bill increases the maximum cost to play a game of
  1 12 skill or game of chance at an amusement concession from $1 to
  1 13 $3.  The bill also increases the value of the prize which may
  1 14 be offered for winning a game of skill or game of chance from
  1 15 $25 to $50.
