1 1 Section 1. Section 347.13, Code 1995, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 16. Within fifteen days following a
1 4 regular or special meeting of the board of hospital trustees,
1 5 cause to be published in each official newspaper of the county
1 6 as selected by the board of supervisors pursuant to section
1 7 349.1, all proceedings of each regular or special meeting of
1 8 the board of hospital trustees.
1 9 Sec. 2. Section 392.6, Code 1995, is amended by adding the
1 10 following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 11 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. The board of trustees shall
1 12 cause, within fifteen days following a regular or special
1 13 meeting, the proceedings of the regular or special meeting of
1 14 the board of trustees to be published in a newspaper of
1 15 general circulation in the city.
1 16 EXPLANATION
1 17 This bill requires the board of hospital trustees of a city
1 18 or county hospital to publish the proceedings of its regular
1 19 or special meetings in the official newspapers of the county
1 20 for county hospitals or in a newspaper of general circulation
1 21 in the city for a city hospital.
