  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  455B.110  REGULATION OF ANIMAL
  1  2 FEEDING OPERATIONS.
  1  3    All appropriate state agencies may adopt rules under
  1  4 chapter 17A which provide for the practicable regulation of
  1  5 animal feeding operations and their locations; the storage,
  1  6 removal, and application of manure from those operations; and
  1  7 the cleanup of abandoned animal feeding operation sites.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill provides that all appropriate state agencies may
  1 10 adopt rules under chapter 17A which provide for the
  1 11 practicable regulation of animal feeding operations and their
  1 12 locations; the storage, removal, and application of manure
  1 13 from those operations; and the cleanup of abandoned animal
  1 14 feeding operation sites.
