1 1 Section 1. Section 35A.2, subsection 3, Code 1995, is
1 2 amended by striking the subsection.
1 3 Sec. 2. REPEAL. 1992 Iowa Acts, chapter 1140, section 44,
1 4 is repealed.
1 5 Sec. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act, being deemed of
1 6 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 7 EXPLANATION
1 8 This bill strikes section 35A.2, subsection 3, requiring
1 9 the office of the commission of veterans affairs to be located
1 10 at the Iowa veterans home, and repeals a section in the 1992
1 11 Iowa Acts relating to the relocation of the commission office
1 12 to the Iowa veterans home.
