  1  1    Amend Senate File 2208, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 3 and 4 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "k.  Stalking in violation of section 708.11,
  1  6 subsection 3, paragraph "b", subparagraph (3), if the
  1  7 fact-finder determines by clear and convincing
  1  8 evidence that the offense was sexually motivated."
  1  9    #2.  By striking page 1, line 24, through page 2,
  1 10 line 5.
  1 11    #3.  Page 2, by inserting after line 22 the
  1 12 following:
  1 13    "Sec.    .  The department of human services shall
  1 14 work with the department of public safety to develop a
  1 15 single point of contact for persons seeking
  1 16 information regarding individuals who may be listed on
  1 17 the child abuse registry created in section 235A.14,
  1 18 the dependent adult abuse registry created in section
  1 19 235B.5, or the sex offender registry created in
  1 20 section 692A.10.  The department of human services and
  1 21 the department of public safety shall also study the
  1 22 issue of information sharing among the registries.
  1 23 The department of human services and the department of
  1 24 public safety shall present a joint report to the
  1 25 general assembly not later than December 15, 1996,
  1 26 regarding the feasibility of creating a single point
  1 27 of contact for information on the registries and
  1 28 providing information sharing among the registries,
  1 29 including the statutory changes necessary for
  1 30 implementation."
  1 31    #4.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words
  1 32 "registry and" and inserting the following:
  1 33 "registry, requiring a departmental study, and".
  1 34    #5.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 35 and correcting internal references as necessary.
