  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5427, to House File 2477, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 2, line 22, by striking the figure
  1  5 "2,914,455" and inserting the following:  "2,877,455".
  1  6    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 33 and 34 and
  1  7 inserting the following:
  1  8    "#   .  Page 10, line 14, by striking the figure
  1  9 "200,000" and inserting the following:  "687,000".
  1 10    #   .  Page 10, by inserting after line 17 the
  1 11 following:"
  1 12    #3.  Page 4, line 28, by striking the figure
  1 13 "203,577,328" and inserting the following:
  1 14 "203,402,328".
  1 15    #4.  Page 4, line 50, by striking the figure
  1 16 "161,859,066" and inserting the following:
  1 17 "161,634,066".
  1 18    #5.  Page 5, line 20, by striking the figure
  1 19 "72,821,314" and inserting the following:

  1 21    #6.  Page 7, by inserting after line 3 the
  1 22 following:
  1 23    "Sec.    .  Section 279.51, subsection 1,
  1 24 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code Supplement 1995, is
  1 25 amended to read as follows:
  1 26    There is appropriated from the general fund of the
  1 27 state to the department of education for the fiscal
  1 28 year beginning July 1, 1990 1996, the sum of eight
  1 29 nine million seven nine hundred thirteen thousand
  1 30 dollars.  For each fiscal year beginning on or after
  1 31 July 1, 1995 1997, there is appropriated the sum which
  1 32 was appropriated for the fiscal year commencing July
  1 33 1, 1994.
  1 34    Sec.    .  Section 279.51, subsection 1, paragraph
  1 35 b, Code Supplement 1995, is amended to read as
  1 36 follows:
  1 37    b.  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1990
  1 38 1996, four seven million six three hundred twenty-five
  1 39 thirty-eight thousand dollars, and for each fiscal
  1 40 year thereafter, six million one hundred twenty-five
  1 41 thousand dollars of the funds appropriated shall be
  1 42 allocated to the child development coordinating
  1 43 council established in chapter 256A for the purposes
  1 44 set out in subsection 2 of this section and section
  1 45 256A.3."
  1 46    #7.  By renumbering as necessary.
