  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5359, to Senate File 2195 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 14 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 3, line 5, by inserting after the word
  1  6 "activities." the following:  "A regional
  1  7 telecommunications council shall not expend any funds
  1  8 received pursuant to this paragraph without the prior
  1  9 approval of the area education agency serving the area
  1 10 in which the council is located.  In approving such
  1 11 expenditures, the area education agency shall consider
  1 12 and give priority to the best interests of students in
  1 13 grades kindergarten through twelve.""
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
