1 5 "Sec. . DEVELOPMENT OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
1 6 FOR SALE OF NETWORK.
1 7 1. The legislative council shall coordinate and
1 8 oversee the development of a request for proposals
1 9 related to the sale of the network. The council shall
1 10 work with the Iowa telecommunications and technology
1 11 commission and other appropriate state agencies in
1 12 developing the request for proposals. The council may
1 13 contract with any other appropriate entity in
1 14 developing the request for proposals as deemed
1 15 necessary by the council.
1 16 2. There is appropriated from the general fund of
1 17 the state for the use of the Iowa legislative council
1 18 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1995, and ending
1 19 June 30, 1996, for the purpose of coordinating and
1 20 overseeing the development of a request for proposals
1 21 related to the sale of the network pursuant to
1 22 subsection 1, the following amount, or so much thereof
1 23 as is necessary:
