  1  1    Amend Senate File 472 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 30 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY DATE.  This
  1  5 Act applies retroactively to local option sales and
  1  6 services taxes approved on or after July 1, 1994.
  1  7 Statutory procedures required for local option sales
  1  8 and services tax elections held on or after July 1,
  1  9 1994, and before the effective date of this Act shall
  1 10 be deemed to fulfill the notice, proceedings, and
  1 11 election requirements contained in section 2 of this
  1 12 Act."
  1 13    #2.  Title page, line 4, by inserting after the
  1 14 word "date" the following:  "and a retroactive
  1 15 applicability date".
