1 1 Amend Senate File 481 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 14, by inserting after line 5 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Section 321J.20, Code 1995, is amended
1 5 by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 6. Following the minimum period
1 7 of ineligibility, a temporary restricted license under
1 8 this section shall not be issued until such time as
1 9 the applicant installs an ignition interlock device of
1 10 a type approved by the commissioner of public safety
1 11 on all motor vehicles owned or operated by the
1 12 applicant, in accordance with section 321J.4,
1 13 subsection 7. Installation of an ignition interlock
1 14 device under this section shall be required for the
1 15 period of time for which the temporary restricted
1 16 license is issued, but no longer than one year, unless
1 17 the court order under section 321J.4, subsection 7,
1 18 provides for a longer period of time."
