  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5419, to Senate File 2443,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 3, line 17, by striking the word "four"
  1  5 and inserting the following:  "one".
  1  6    #2.  Page 13, by inserting after line 33 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec. 101.  Section 15E.112, subsection 3, Code
  1  9 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1 10    3.  Payments of interest, recaptures of awards, or
  1 11 repayments of moneys loaned under the value-added
  1 12 agricultural products and processes financial
  1 13 assistance program shall be deposited into the fund.
  1 14 Section 8.33 does not apply to any moneys in the fund.
  1 15 Unencumbered or unobligated moneys in the fund derived
  1 16 from moneys deposited pursuant to section 423.24,
  1 17 which are in excess of three two million six hundred
  1 18 fifty thousand dollars of unencumbered or unobligated
  1 19 moneys in the fund deposited pursuant to that section,
  1 20 which are remaining on June 30 of each fiscal year,
  1 21 shall be credited on August 31 to the road use tax
  1 22 fund as created in section 312.1.
  1 23    Sec.    .  Section 423.24, subsection 1, paragraph
  1 24 b, subparagraph (1), Code Supplement 1995, is amended
  1 25 to read as follows:
  1 26    (1)  Ninety-one and one-quarter percent of these
  1 27 moneys or so much thereof as is necessary to bring the
  1 28 balance in the value-added agricultural products and
  1 29 processes financial assistance fund created in section
  1 30 15E.122 up to two million dollars shall be deposited
  1 31 in the value-added agricultural products and processes
  1 32 financial assistance fund as created in section
  1 33 15E.112.  The remainder of the ninety-one and one-
  1 34 quarter percent shall be transferred and credited to
  1 35 the road use tax fund as created in section 312.1."
  1 36    #3.  Page 13, line 50, by striking the word and
  1 37 figure "Section 22" and inserting the following:
  1 38 "Sections 101 and 22".
  1 39    #4.  Page 14, line 1, by striking the word "takes"
  1 40 and inserting the following:  "take".
  1 41    #5.  By renumbering as necessary.
