  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3498, to Senate File 266, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 16, by inserting after line 27 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec. 801.  Section 257.11, Code 1995, is amended
  1  7 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  8    NEW SUBSECTION.  2A.  ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL.  If the
  1  9 school budget review committee certifies to the
  1 10 department of management that an alternative school
  1 11 serving two or more school districts would otherwise
  1 12 not be implemented without the assignment of
  1 13 additional weighting, students attending classes in
  1 14 the alternative school are assigned a weighting of one
  1 15 and forty-eight hundredths."
  1 16    #2.  Page 20, line 11, by inserting after the
  1 17 figure "15," the following:  "801,".
  1 18    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
