Pursuant to the proclamation of the Governor, the Honorable
Thomas J. Vilsack, convening the Eightieth General Assembly in
Extraordinary Session, the Senate was called to order at 10:20 a.m.
by the Honorable Mary Kramer, President of the Senate.

Prayer was offered by the Honorable Doug Shull, member of the
Senate from Warren County, Indianola, Iowa.
