Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 450 (SSB 1198), a bill for an act relating to
charitable contributions and historical rehabilitation by establishing a community
development program to provide tax credits for businesses contributing to community
development projects to aid certain neighborhoods and communities; by establishing an
endow Iowa seed grants program to aid local philanthropic entities and providing tax
credits; by allowing the transfer of certain historical rehabilitation and housing tax
credits; and by establishing an individual income tax credit for contributions to certain
qualified endowments; and including effective and retroactive applicability date
provisions.
Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.
Final Vote: Ayes, 17: McKibben, Shull, Bolkcom, Angelo, Connolly, Dotzler, Hosch,
