CONSIDERATION OF BILL

Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
for consideration House File 547.

House File 547

On motion of Senator Johnson, House File 547, a bill for an act
providing for evidence of financial responsibility filed by commercial
pesticide applicators, with report of committee recommending
amendment and passage, was taken up for consideration.

Senator Behn offered amendment S-3122, filed by the committee
on Agriculture on April 1, 2003, to page 2 and to the title page of the
bill, and moved its adoption.

Amendment S-3122 was adopted by a voice vote.

Senator Johnson moved that the bill be read the last time now and
placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
the bill was read the last time.

On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 547), the vote was:
