have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to.
IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED
Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
Senate Files 366 and 394 be immediately messaged to the House.
CONSIDERATION OF BILLS

Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
for consideration Senate Files 341 and 359.
Senate File 341
On motion of Senator Zieman, Senate File 341, a bill for an act
regulating the balance of competitive forces in swine and beef
production by enhancing the welfare of the farming community and
by preventing processors from gaining control of beef or swine
production, providing for the transfer of provisions, making a penalty
applicable, and providing for an effective date, was taken up for
consideration.
Senator Zieman moved that the bill be read the last time now and
placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
the bill was read the last time.
On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 341), the vote was:
